Vinpower HDDShark Hard drive duplicator
Posted by admin in Product News on March 8th, 2012
Vinpower Digital is releasing a new standalone hard drive (HDD) duplicator, called the HDDShark, which is the perfect solution for those that need to make back-up or residual clones of a master hard drive’s (HDD) content. Available in multiple size configurations supporting reading and writing speeds up to a blazing fast 120MB/sec, allows the user to make quick and reliable clones of nearly any HDD. The HDDShark supports hard drives from virtually all OS platforms, such as Unix, Linux, Windows, or Mac. The HDDShark supports nearly all file systems including FAT16/32, exFAT, NTFS, and ext2/3/4 in both the Raw mode (which copies bit by bit the entire HDD) and Smart Copy (which copies only the identifiable data and content stored on the master HDD) configuration. Using the HDDShark to copy multiple HDD’s simultaneously through a single operation on a standalone duplicator gives you a piece of mind that each HDD will be copied quickly, accurately and conveniently for a no hassle, low cost alternative to performing this task 1 at a time through a PC.
Additionally, The HDDShark performs the reliable Quick Erase and/or Full Erase option, but if can also erase the HDD up to the high government DoD 5220 standards which ensure there was no trace of the content left behind.
